Course Description:

Reiki is a universal life force healing energy. It brings harmony and balance to the entire physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual dynamic of each individual. In Reiki – Level One, students will learn the history, theory, philosophy, the basic spiritual anatomy (chakra system) in relation to holistic health, first level ancient symbols, and specific application of hand positions for giving a Reiki treatment. You will receive your first attunement and be certified as a first level Reiki Practitioner. Through a series of attunements, energy channels will be opened, empowering you to bring through healing energy for yourself and others.

Course Description:

In Reiki – Level Two, you will explore and expand the understanding of the chakra system, long distance healing, working with animals using Reiki, animal distant healing, and incorporating Reiki in daily activities. Students will receive their second attunement and learn to apply the second level of ancient Reiki symbols, which are effective in treating emotional and mental disorders. Participants will be certified as a second level Reiki Practitioner.

Course Description:

This course is inspired by the profound benefits of CranioSacral Therapy, Reiki, and the concept of deepening holds (resting strokes) to deepen the client’s treatment. The course will start with movement of the spirit, followed by a morning meditation. Participants will explore various centering, grounding and visualization techniques to help the therapist connect with the client’s stillness from within. Participants will have time to trade treatment and give feedback after observing technique demonstration. Course Description:

In this course, participants will learn the history of aromatherapy, general process of extracting the essence of the plant, theory, effects, physical / emotional properties of each oil, indications, contraindications, pre-cautions, notes of the oils and covering in-depth 12 basic essential oil (such as: lavender, peppermint, orange, cypress, eucalyptus, chamomile…). Participants will be able to create your own aromatherapy mist/spray, which could be used for a verity of purposes. Upon completion of this course, participants will have the knowledge and inspiration to incorporate aromatherapy into their practice and self-care routine.

Course Description:

This course is the closest you will get to Hogwarts, creating a verity of lotion and potions. Prior to creating your blends you will have a review of aromatherapy “The Basics”. Practitioners will be introduced to 12 new essential oils including the purpose, effects, indications, contraindications, and pre-cautions. Practitioners will learn the set-up, supplies needed for your own custom creations of bath salt, bath/body oil, lotion, massage balm and body scrub. You will leave with a smile on your face and an aromatherapy basket filled with your custom blends.

Course Description:

This course will begin with an overview of ten common herbs (lavender, chamomile, rose, rosemary, eucalyptus and peppermint…) and their therapeutic properties, indications, contraindication, pre-caution, common application, buying, gathering and storing of herbs. After demonstration, students will have time to create an herbal blend for their client’s needs and will have plenty of time to both give and receive this wonderful and powerful treatment. This is a great alternative technique to warm up the tissue prior to deep tissue work, to relieve acute and chronic muscle tightness, to break up congestion and to deepen a treatment. Upon completion of this course therapist will walk away with two custom herbal creations, and a new alternative tool to incorporate into their practice.

Hydrotherapy-The Roots is an inspiring class on the powers of water. Dive straight into the core of H20 as you enjoy an in-depth lecture on the history of Hydrotherapy and how it has evolved throughout centuries and many different cultures. Discussing the principle of Hydrotherapy and how it relates to the basic foundations of most spa treatments. The practitioner will gain knowledge of the theory, terminology, therapeutic benefits, indications, contraindications, pre-cautions and safety. While the majority of this class is lecture, practitioners will watch a demonstration and receive remarkable training of two basic Hydrotherapy treatments (including Cryotherapy and Paraffin spot treatments) followed with hands-on practice.

Exfoliation is another simple and effective tool to add to you tool box. Upon completion of this course, practitioners will know a wide range of natural ingredients and fibers that can be used to exfoliate while also working with the body’s natural lymphatic system to enhance the drainage of toxins. Hands-on practice includes full body exfoliations using natural ingredients such as salt, sugar and herbs, along with practicing exfoliation using fiber tools, such as dry brush.
